INFS Contribute and Earn Program

The INFS Basic Course, a free course earlier, became a paid one in the month of September. Ever since its launch, more than 12,800 people had joined the course in a span of just 8 months! Now, INFS had planned to put the proceeds of the INFS Basic Course to good use in a unique way. It had planned to launch something that would incentivise the scholars’ efforts to contribute to the community and, in turn, raise their confidence. In comes – INFS Contribute and Earn Program!

What is the INFS Contribute and Earn Program?

The INFS Contribute and Earn Program includes a number of tasks that INFS scholars can complete to earn credits in the form of e-commerce gift cards. These gift cards, worth INR 50, 100, 500, and more, will be funded by the enrollments into the INFS Basic Course that became a paid course in the month of September.

All the proceeds from the INFS Basic Course will be used under the INFS Contribute and Earn Program to boost the efforts of the scholars in building the community, help them raise their confidence, and achieve INFS’ aim of spreading knowledge that is backed by research. 

Who can participate in the INFS Contribute and Earn Program?

Scholars who have cleared the INFS Basic Course are eligible to participate in the tasks of the program. Also, if the scholars are pursuing or have completed any of the internationally accredited INFS professional courses can also become part of it. 

The mentioned courses include – 

  • Foundation Course
  • Expert Course
  • Clinical Nutrition Advanced Course
  • Diploma in Nutrition and Fitness
  • Sports Nutrition Course
  • Exercise Science Specialist Course
  • Contest Prep Course
  • Yoga Protocol Instructor Course
  • Calisthenics Trainer Certification

What tasks were included in the INFS Contribute and Earn Program?

The program started with three simple tasks. These activities were – 

  • Article Writing
  • Conducting Webinar 
  • Sharing on social media platforms

Upon participating in any of the three tasks, the scholars stood a chance of winning gift vouchers worth INR 250 for writing articles and conducting webinars, and INR 100 for sharing on social media platforms. 

How to participate in the INFS Contribute and Earn Program?

Details of each task were shared in the INFS Facebook group, with the first task starting from 22nd September. These posts about the details were linked to the ‘Guides’ section of the Facebook group for easy reference.

In order to participate, scholars had to go through the guidelines, make sure they met the eligibility criteria, and submit their entry through a Google form made available by INFS through the post on Facebook. 

First Task – Article Writing

The details of the first task, that is article writing, was posted on 22nd September. Scholars were provided with a set of topics and had the liberty of choosing the topic that they wanted to write about. Below were the topics given to the participants to choose. 

  • How to increase non-exercise activity thermogenesis (NEAT)?
  • Is creatine safe for women?
  • Fat loss Plateau: Reasons & Solutions
  • What are hunger hormones?
  • 10 benefits of squats
  • Tips for healthy bones
  • Oral health care tips
  • What are the first signs of fat loss?
  • Factors affecting fat loss
  • The complete guide to probiotics
  • Exercise tempo
  • Food cravings: Causes

Participants were required to submit articles that were well researched, original and plagiarism-free, grammatically correct, and properly edited and formatted. The article had to be 1000-1200 words long with the references enlisted at the end.

The last date to submit the article was 10th October 2021, post which all the articles were evaluated by the INFS content team. The first task received an overwhelming response. After careful assessment, we had 3 winners.

Article writing task (Oct)

The 2nd round of the Contribute and Earn Activity was equally well received. The participants were given the following guidelines and details:

“Guidelines:

The article should be well researched, original and plagiarism-free, grammatically correct, and properly edited and formatted. The article should be 1000-1200 words long with the references enlisted at the end.

Please refer to the ‘Guides’ section of the Facebook group for more details.

Once you submit the article, it will be evaluated by the content team and if it fulfils the criteria, it will be published on INFS’s blog with due credits to the author. The author will then be given a gift voucher.

Choose a topic for your post > Go through the guidelines > Write the post > Get approval > Win gift voucher & have your post published on INFS blog.

This is a great opportunity for all the fitness enthusiasts out there to share their wealth of knowledge with others in the community.

Second Task – Conducting Webinar

The second activity of the INFS Contribute and Earn program required scholars to host a virtual webinar for the participants in Mission 50 Million – a volunteer-led mission by INFS to make 50 million people fit! The details of the task were shared on the INFS Facebook group on 24th September, and it is an on-going activity. Scholars wishing to participate in the task have to send an email to support@mission50m.com to check if they qualify for the program.

If the scholars match the eligibility criteria, a mentor will connect with them and share the Mission 50 Million presentation. Scholars need to practice and present the webinar once to the mentor and get their approval.

Upon receiving approval, the scholars will then be directed to create and host their webinar on Mission 50 Million website. With a minimum of 50 participants attending and clearing their participation certification, the scholars will be rewarded with a gift voucher worth INR 250. 

Third Task – Share on Social

To participate, this is what you need:

  • Based on your learning with us, create an infographic with information on fitness, nutrition, holistic health, or mindfulness.
  • Post this infographic on your social media account.
  • Include references supporting your content in the caption. (You may either create a carousel or a single creative image).
  • Use the hashtag #earnwithinfs and tag INFS.
  • Once posted, share your post in the story. Remember to tag @infs_official and use the hashtag #earnwithinfs in the story too (so we can also boost your posts reach by re-sharing!)
  • One last step is to follow the INFS Insta page – @infs_official.
  • Once your post receives 100+ likes, fill this Google form.

Every post receiving 100+ likes and meeting the criteria above will be rewarded with INR 250 vouchers!

You can take inspiration from the INFS posts, but it is strongly advised to not replicate them. If any plagiarism is observed, you will get disqualified. Also, a minimum of 100 likes are necessary to be rewarded.

Who can participate?

If you are pursuing or completed any of our internationally accredited INFS professional courses, i.e. Foundation, Expert, Clinical, Diploma, Sports Nutrition, ESS/CPT, Yoga Trainer, Calisthenics Trainer OR have cleared the INFS Basic Course!
